Сценарий на английском языке на Рождество: «We wish you a Merry Christmas!»
Данное мероприятие проводилось в 6 классе. Но, думаю, что можно провести и в 4 и в 5 классе. Основная цель была - узнать об основных традициях празднования Рождества в Великобритании.Преобладающий характер познавательной деятельности на уроке был творческий.
Ход урока
1. Организационный момент. (Презентация).
T: Good morning! I’m glad to see you! Let’s start our lesson! First of all I suggest you to listen to one song and guess what holiday is this song about? (Звучит песня ENYA «We wish you a Merry Christmas!»).

P1: This song is about Christmas.
T: Of course! What are we going to speak about?
P2: About Christmas.
T: Yes, you are right. We start our lesson, which is connected with a beautiful holiday, the most popular holiday in Great Britain. This holiday is the most favourite holiday for all English children and grown-ups. We will speak and read about Christmas, sing a song and play games. I hope you’ll enjoy our English lesson and will work hard today.

- Ex.1 (Папка New words) Let’s start our lesson. But first of all, I want you to listen to some new words. Look at the pictures and repeat after me (holly, tinsel, lights, baubles/balls, gingerbread man, snowflake, candy cane, angel, snowman and star). После каждого нового слова ученики на листах с новыми словами записывают перевод.
После повторения новых слов за учителем, дети подходят к столу по очереди, берут по одной картинки и вешают на ёлку (нарисованную на доске), проговаривая слово вслух (Документ Word «Картинки на ёлку»).
- T: Children! I have prepared a surprise for you. Here are some magic envelopes. Who wants to take one? (Дети по очереди берут у учителя конверт, в котором лежит один вопрос, зачитывают и отвечают на него):

- When do Englishmen celebrate Christmas? (It is celebrated оn December 25th. The holiday is connected with the wonderful birth of Jesus Christ.)

- How is Father Frost called in Great Britain? (Santa Claus)
- What is the traditional Christmas dinner? (The traditional Christmas dinner is roast turkey with vegetables and Christmas pudding.)
- How much time is it before Christmas? How many days?
- Do you believe in Santa Claus?

Christmas Day (8 предложений)
Christmas Day, December 25th, is the most exciting day ofthe year for English children. Оn that day they get presents and give presents to their brothers, sisters, parents and friends.
Yоu probably know that English children hang stockings at the fireplace or near their beds оn Christmas Eve. In the morning they usually find their stockings filled with small toys and sweets. They mау also find larger toys lying nearby.
The morning will bе spent playing with new toys and reading new books. Then comes lunch, traditionally with the turkey as the main dish and Christmas pudding for dessert. The whole family tries to соmе together оn Christmas Day to say "Merry Christmas " to each other .
